Milioner i były kandydat na burmistrza Chicago, Willie Wilson planuje przekazać w przyszłym tygodniu 1 milion dolarów na benzynę dla mieszkańców Wietrznego Miasta i powiatu Cook. W ten czwartek kierowcy dzięki Wilsonowi już mogli zatankować za darmo na wybranych stacjach w Chicago. Ustawiły się przed nimi długie kolejki. Na ten cel przekazał 200 tysięcy dolarów. Willie Wilson poinformował w piątek, że na 50 stacjach benzynowych i na niektórych w powiecie Cook w najbliższy czwartek (24 marca) znowu będzie można bezpłatnie zatankować. Na każdy samochód wyznaczono 50 dolarów a darmowe tankowanie potrwa do czasu wyczerpania kwoty przeznaczonej przez Wilsona czyli miliona dolarów.
